Freddy vs Jason vs Ash!!

And its directed by Sam Raimi too!!! I swear!

Apparantly Freddy steals the book of the dead and starts resserecting some crazy shit and yeah that is all I know so far. :(

Yeah you all heard this before but its for real this time. >:

Ant10708 Dec 24th, 2003 05:36 PM

Freddy vs Jason was bad so I don't have much hope for this one. :/

Mad Melvin Dec 24th, 2003 05:42 PM

I liked Freddy vs. Jason. Sure, it wasnt a masterpiece, but it was a hell of a lot better than friday the 13th or nightmare on elm street sequels.
Cheesy one-liners from Freddy AND ash in one movie? cant wait. :love

HickMan Dec 24th, 2003 05:51 PM

I'd have to see it to belive it.

Spooky Dec 24th, 2003 06:22 PM

It's a lie. I'm in the know. Raimi's busy with 30 days of night, and some other movie, and i think likewise with bruce campbell.

and new line doesnt have the rights to evil dead

Zbu Manowar Dec 24th, 2003 10:30 PM

I didn't think Freddy vs. Jason was that bad. Sure, it wasn't as horrifying as both films were in their heyday but they could never be that scary again. But I really do appreciate how unrealistically bloody the whole affair was. Jason cutting people in TWO with his fucking machete was well worth it.

And Ash? I'm interested. ;)

Anonymous Dec 24th, 2003 10:34 PM

I heard about this, without the Reimi part. I think it's a bad idea.

And Freddy vs. Jason ruled, you saucy faggots.

Zbu Manowar Dec 24th, 2003 10:35 PM

Yes it did. I'm still doubtful of the Michael Myers/Pinhead idea, however, but why not?

Anonymous Dec 24th, 2003 10:39 PM

Because if you add another, the flimsy excuse to not do shit like that in the future is extinguished. You'll have crossovers as rampant in Hollywood as 'regurgitated old shit' is now. Not only that, but they'll be expected to continue sequels in this series with a new icon in each one, increasing the ridiculousness to the level of a Sailor Moon/Dragonball/Yugi-Oh fanfic.

Well, without the inclusion of 'manhood's and 'hot aching spot's.

Command Prompt Dec 25th, 2003 12:14 AM

Hopefully without sustaining a beating from Mock, I can say that... awfuck it I will tone it down.

This looks WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY better than Freddy vs Jason.

:(

Spooky Dec 25th, 2003 12:20 AM

Alien vs Predator

Zbu Manowar Dec 25th, 2003 01:05 AM

Alien vs. Predator vs. Snake Plissken? Escape from Hollywood Trends? ;)

SUUUUUUURE, :lol

Zbu Manowar Dec 25th, 2003 11:09 PM

Okay, how could both be as scary as they were when they first came out? Enlighten me. :)

Ant10708 Dec 25th, 2003 11:31 PM

They are only scary if you are younger then 10 years old. But they are funny.

Zbu Manowar Dec 25th, 2003 11:45 PM

Or just gory. And that's probably good enough for them.

sports Dec 27th, 2003 09:58 PM

I read about a month or so ago, that New Line really wants to do this. Bruce Campell himself even mentioned it. But if it does come out, I heard it be after Spider-Man 3. I heard Sam (Rami ) would love to make a Spider-Man 3 and Evil Dead 4.

He would like to do Evil Dead 4? Doesn't sound that definite. Sounds like the AICN guys are just taking some off-the-cuff statement and then blowing it up so it becomes some sort of fact.

It would be nice to see an Evil Dead 4. But I doubt it'll happen...will they follow the first ending of Army of Darkness or the second? Will it still be made cheaply to keep the feel? Will it be censored horribly by the studio because it's a 'blockbuster' now and not just what it is?

I have my doubts. :(

sports Dec 28th, 2003 04:48 AM

...I think the original ending would be the only way they can make a sequel. :/

pjalne Dec 28th, 2003 08:11 AM

There's an easteregg interview on the Book of the Dead DVD release where Raimi and Tapert say they're working on a no-budget back-to-the-basics project that might turn out to be ED4.

Zbu Manowar Dec 28th, 2003 07:41 PM

Hmmmm.....that's hopeful to say the least. Still I'd consider it more up in the air.
