Boxing Day Thread

Combined with my savings I have 270 bucks. I will pick one of these items tommorow (depending on of course the prices)

1. Gamecube with resident evil collection :) :) :)
2. DVD Changer :) :)
3. Comfy chair to sit in :) :)
4. Saving it >:

I still can't decide between a DVD changer or just getting a remote for my xbox.

So how are you other fools going to soon part with your money??

FartinMowler Dec 25th, 2003 09:24 PM

I got my daughter playstation 2 with the ATV and I bought the Ratchet and clank and we really had a blast today!! I did some research on the game cube and still can't figure out why some people really like that system over the PS2 (I'm not bashing just curious why some prefer the cube?)

I'm saving it all like a good little boy. I have $1000 now in my savings for the first time in my entire life.

glowbelly Dec 26th, 2003 09:32 PM

haha! this thread isn't doing well because americans don't celebrate boxing day. if we did, it would probably consist of something like everyone going outside and kicking their neighbor's asses.

Esuohlim Dec 26th, 2003 10:40 PM

I'm spending my money on some GBA games, that big George Carlin box set of his first seven CDs, and UCB and Space Ghost DVD sets (WHICH I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO AFFORD UNTIL NOW :()

camacazio Dec 26th, 2003 10:43 PM

Since I just turned 18 I need to pump some of my christmas cash into my bank acount so they don't charge me for having less than $300. That right there cuts my spending money in half.

AChimp Dec 26th, 2003 11:33 PM

Americans should have a Boxing Day. It's an excuse to buy lots of stuff at really low prices. :)

Command Prompt Dec 27th, 2003 12:05 AM

what about EVERYDAY LOW PRICES ??

Geggy Dec 27th, 2003 12:09 AM

Buy a flash ROM, so then you can just download the games off the net, you can get rare releases that way, and it will save you money in buying GBA games. :D

English Boxing day: The Day when the rich of England would put their left overs in boxes and give it to their servents.

Amercian Boxing Day: The day when Americans laugh at the funny way british box. Cheerie-O you fruits. AND It's called ELAVATORS, not LIFTS. We invented the damn thing, so you call it the right way now! Or we'll kick your ass.

Canadian Boxing Day: Recive the boxed food from their English Master. Except for Quebec, who recives a white flag from France. It's just incase Quebec (being mostly French) needs to surrender for some reason.

Edit: Damn, I just love beating these dead horses.

Anonymous Dec 27th, 2003 12:37 PM

HAHAHAHA! THE FRENCH DO SURRENDER A LOT, DON'T THEY???

Command Prompt Dec 28th, 2003 05:25 AM

I like my threads because they wander off in neat ways :(

Matt Harty Dec 28th, 2003 12:18 PM

None of the other threads do that. :(

Command Prompt Dec 28th, 2003 04:22 PM

I WISH YOU WOULD WANDER OFF

Matt Harty Dec 28th, 2003 04:26 PM

I was playing legend of Zelda last night, and one of the dungeons was shaped like a swastika. Number three I think. :eek

DamnthatDavid Dec 29th, 2003 05:11 AM

You do all know that the Swastika is a Hindu Symbol, right?
