I actually liked the pokemon cartoon, well, the 9 or 10 episodes I have seen I liked. The games were way too boring to enjoy.

I admit I have about 300+ card still, but I don't know where they are. :hangman But the games are great, red and blue were the foot holes to launch it, Gold and Silver were great, but Ruby and Saphire just sucked, to many new ones and not enough old, plus it sucked.

I hear the next game is going to have over 2400 animals. Making it 4x more fun in their opinion.

I never understood trading cards in general. In the fourth grade, I found several extremely rare cards (I only found out so afterwards, still didn't care) in the bottom of the toilet paper dispenser. I couldn't understand for the life of me why people started acting like zombies when I showed them. I had people following me around all day. I gave them to one of the teachers who needed them to completely finish his collection.

I still don't get it.

But I do like the games. Got every one made for the Game Boy series in this room.

Yeah, the games were pretty cool, like I said above, hell, I admit I play them every now and then. Once, I had this really rare card(can't remember what it was; some japaneese holographic card) and I was going down the street when some rich dumbass asked me if I was another kid( another KID! I was freakin 14!) who liked this pokeman(spelled wrong on purpose) thing. I said "Not really, but I have some cards with me." So he asked if he could see them. I showed him my rare one, and he offered to pay me $200 for it! $200! I accepted of course, and now I still have a little of that money right now.

What I don't understand is, why is a thin paper slip covered with plastic worth that much?

*points to name* Loved pokemon. Loved it. I collected cards, watched the movies, played with the toys, etc. etc... I even did pokemon role-playing during recess with a couple of friends(I AM SO WIGGLYTUFF, BITCH!) Then the second season came 'round... it... started to suck...

There were too many new pokemon... it was insane... so I dropped it.


I still watch the first season of the 'toon, though.

The card game sucked, mainly because nothing could beat charizard. Not even my first edition blastoise. God I loved that game.
