I heard today that it's been pushed back to April :(

yay now i don't have to sneek into...

I can pay full price for it like all 17 year olds :)

Feb. 3. Originally meant to come out the tuesday before volume 2 came out in theaters. :(

I still haven't seen this movie.

I've heard that the DVD release for volume 1 has been pushed back as well, but I don't know if that's true.

Kill Bill was supposed to be one movie, but it was split up into two volumes.

And what is so criminal about releasing the whole movie to DVD at once? Wasn't the purpose of cutting it in two to shove in more showings at the theater? Why bother doing that on DVD? What, people don't know how to use the pause and stop buttons anymore? Give me a break!

the reason they had to split it up is because the rating system is based on amount of sex, amound ot blood shown, and number of bodies.

I don't understand that rating system at all. Could someone explain how splitting it into two movies makes two R-rated movies instead of one or two x-rated films? It just doesn't make sense to me if they're not actually losing any material.
