I particularly like his choice in colors.

in regards to a specific piece?

i liked his technique and his reasoning behind the technique. the paintings really seem like an extension of himself, rather than something that is observed by an outside viewer.

I like his color choice in all of his pieces.

The meaning behind the art is not so relevant to me as the art itself is. I tend to view the meaning as a means, and the piece as the end. This is why it's odd that I like abstract expressionism.
