MOTHER FUCKER BRADSHAW |
Oh man, I feel silly today. :lol |
New band that is pretty much the Legendary Shack Shakers plus a female vocalist. Awesome.
|
that's right rap about the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy fuckin' a |
|
You know, there are a lot of bands that don't bother moving on from a certain sound or can't seem to reinvent themselves, but that doesn't bother me so much with My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult. |
Holy shit, you can add this guy to my list for this year. |
One of my current favorite bands. Saw them live about 4 years ago and pushed me to search out everything from them. (just 2 cds at the time) |

Another thread reminded me of them and how I haven't listened to them in 6 months. I really need to start my own band. I wanna play punk music like they did in the 90's and early 00's. |
I hope you get on that soon then. Shit sucks now.
|
When it comes to classic thrash metal, I think this is the 100% definitive song of the genre:
|
Thursday night is TV NIGHT. To celebrate how excited I am for this, it's TV Party time.
Yeah, I know they're actually bashing tv, but fuck it. |
Harry Belafonte singing Zombie Jamboree has been stuck in my head.
|
then it got replaced by this. :)

I forgot about that Kaada song, I haven't heard it for years. I forgot he even existed.
|
Thinking about the Kaada / Patton album made me remember the Eyvind Kang album with Patton that was really great. Probably the last decent thing Patton's done.

This is three-ish songs put together, all off one of my favorite albums ever - Near Death Experience by the band Spektr. It's (to me) a rad blend of Silent Hill like atmosphere and black metal, I dig it. A lot. Here's another one of their songs, from a different release. |
DEVISTATINGLY better than the original. |
They redid the song in this video and what an improvement. :D This is some Kpop crap (i.e. Seo In Young). I am probably the only one here that lessons to Kpop. LOL! But hey! Whatever. |
|
That's pretty good.

why did nobody tell me this was the eagles |
lololol
Didn't know it, either |
Yes I know the misfits version may be better to you, but this is the one I like better. Just around the time AFI turned into pussies, but this ep was really good. |
|
Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere by my man Neil Young. Newest pick up at the record store.

Man I dislike them now though :(

Dropkick was the first punk show I went to. Them, swingin utters, and lower class brats. Everything was pretty normal up until dropkick came up. It was actually the last show to include the original singer I think and I'm glad I saw it. It was insane. 3 guys got broken noses, dudes fighting, and one guy did a backflip off the stage and cracked his head open. All in one set. I had blood smeared across my shirt and it wasn't mine. I was pretty beat up though. It was like the whole floor was a pit and only the people standing in the very back were safe. I've never been to a show like it. I've been to see dropkick about 5 times since but they just got mellower and mellower followings each time. I've been to better shows, but never had that crazy atmosphere since.
And yeah, they're pretty lame now, along with AFI. |
We went to go see them last month because Street Dogs were opening for them so Mike McColgan sang a few songs with them. It was interesting seeing them all together but I could've lived without it.
|
this is one of the more ridiculous music videos I've seen
|
|
Oh man.
|
I found my old myspace music account. I made it to upload 3 of the 7 christmas songs that I recorded as christmas gifts for co-workers and friends. It got me fired.
It's like bad hacks, but for music, and sang in a really awful country accent (for most of them). http://www.myspace.com/christmasspanktacular I've got the classics: Rudolph the Dick Nosed Reindeer, I Saw Mommy Fucking Santa Clause, and White Christmas. It's terrible and even now I don't know why I gave a cd to my boss. I only uploaded the 3 best. The rest was just me cussing over christmas music. |
Oh Reggie Watts, your comedy style'ings are a delight. |
I like it when Jimmy Pardo asked him on the Team Coco comedy special "What were you missing, a comb or a mirror?"
|
there's a new tom waits album out as of... today, maybe.
i'm streaming it because i don't feel like downloading it in hopes that someday i'll buy it because i own every other tom waits album and i'm a fuckin' nerd like that. |

Fucking seriously ? >: |

A Halloween themed CD I made myself full of awesome "scary" music from various movies.
|
My kid is really into The Boogers right now, so I've been hearing a lot of that.
It's not all bad, though. It kind of sounds like what would happen if the Ramones (...okay, the Hanson Brothers) settled down and had kids and mellowed out a little bit and started playing exclusively kids' songs. Better than the Wiggles, anyway. |
|
This is going to be my wedding song, The Tossers actually owe it to me. As long as it ends up lasting.
