they seem to think they're quite edgy but that's some of the most generic music I've ever heard.

Tadao Feb 22nd, 2010 10:23 PM

I've took it as "It's all a joke and look at us make fun of you, what are you gonna do about it? Oh, do you have a microphone, hah you don't cause you're a fag, oh you didn't like that? Boo fucking hoo."

Kinda like the voodoo glow skulls

DK's - Winnebago Warrior. We were drinking in a parking lot before a show and this kid walked by wearing a DK shirt, mohawk and cheetah print pants. I was like "Whoa, someone break out the Punk-u-lator for this guy."

He didn't think it was funny.

I am listening to one of my favorite songs...Drive South by Suzy Bogguss. I am at work on my lunch break, with many things to do before tomorrow, and I am in serious need of some good 90's music to keep my spirits up!

Babs Feb 25th, 2010 04:41 AM

Props man on the tasty music. I would highly recommend Throbbing Gristle if you're into Suzy Bogguss. I can tell you listen to good music and wouldn't pass up a good listening. Keep them spirits up!

Your going to love this then......

Before going to work today I found a ton of David Bowie songs on Youtube from the movie Labyrinth. I had no idea that "Underground" had its own music video and a pretty cool one at that. They also had the fire gang song but it wasn't an actual music video it was just a scene from the movie.

Fathom Zero Mar 8th, 2010 03:52 PM

Mellow Yellow is by Donovan.

RJD2's newest.

It's one of those songs I have to listen to a few times before things click, but when they do, I'll listen to it over and over until I die.

I haven't listened to RJD2 in many years and honestly, I wasn't expecting that.

311 - GAP because it is 3/11 day today.

Listening to the new Gorillaz album and it's pretty good. It doesn't so that good in my car which is kind of disappointing but I'm listening to it now at my work pc with headphones and it sounds a lot better.

Blah, I thought that album was horseshit, but that's just me.

10,000 Volt Ghost Mar 12th, 2010 10:54 AM

It's overly poppy compared to Demon Days but its growing on me. I know this sounds kinda lame but when I found out Mos Def was going to be on Plastic Beach I fist pumped the air a bit.

Funny how you can hear the chuckling hipsters in the background to Waits' melancholy wit until they realize near the end of the song that it's actually very depressing and finally shut the fuck up.
