Metroid: Zero Mission
 

I can't wait to get this game. It's a huge remake of the original Metroid.

I've never heard of this. Got any screenshots or anything?

this rom was dumped sometime last nite. i only played it for a couple minutes but it does seem really neat. :o i will make time for it.

I got it, and I just beat Kraid, but that's all I'm doing until I buy the game.

Also, I mastered the bomb jumping technique int his one. I've never really got the hang of it before. :(

Lay one, wait a second, lay another one just before the first one explodes, and when you reach the peak of your jump, lay another one. Pretty simple if you practice.

I'm worried that this one will suck as much as Metroid Fusion.

after playin this for about an hour, i make the premature conclusion that this game is very good :o it's similar to the original in some ways. but there's more than enough new stuff to surprise an intrigue :o

Don't worry, it won't be anything like Metroid Fusion.

And Fusion didn't suck moron.

I thought Fusion was good, it's no Super Metroid but it was cool.

Fusion was good, but the worst Metroid was Metroid 2 since it was a "from point A to point B" layout and you didn't have to backtrack. :/

Actually I think it seems a lot like Fusion. There is an automap and blips on it tell you exactly where to go next, so it seems pretty linear unlike the original. So far I like it though.

Well, what do you expect from it? It is the same Gameboy that produced the GB Final Fantasies...

I just beat it on Normal difficulty, 4:17, 65%. :/

beating it unlocks the original NES Metroid :eek

I just played it for a lil bit and from what I've tried so far, its a awesome game. The control is a lil bit stiffer this time around but the graphics and music is improved a hell of a lot. But I really dont wanna get to into it until I beat metroid fusion.... I'm stuck on the damn samus clone boss. >:

You can only hurt the SA-X with a fully charged shot from you gun. So just jump back and forth and blast it like you would with any boss. :(

I just finished beating Metroid Fusion & Metroid Zero mission. And after playing through both of em' you can really see the similarities between the two.

Even though Zero missions game was really linear it was a short but sweet. They really need to make a side scroller for one of the consoles.
