Well, being a Torontonian this week I kept hearing comment's from local news reports and papers that the concensus was that people felt embarrased at the few day's that he was here. We did have a hard time with SARS and the meat thing so it would have been nice it did something good for out city and really I don't think it did. Conan did keep repeating that he loves Canadians and I know that he came up for fun but you don't just jump into someone's pool, take a piss and then not expect a few frowns from the uptight.

I'm half-French and live in Montreal and this is fucking hilarious. The French (in Quebec) are so terrified of losing their dying language that anything seems like a threat to them.

What exactly were they expecting when they invited him? If they can't take a joke they should have spent the million on getting Pen & Teller or some shit.
