That's because it's a educational game for children. It's like hating Barney when your 25.

1) I did'nt have 25 then

2) If video games were ever meant to "educate" anyone, they sure did'nt do a good job, even with MIM.

I really enjoyed that game as a kid. I actually did learn a lot of trivial tidbits from it. :\
