I may be put on these sometime in the near future and I know that many of you have been on them before. I'm curious about wether it will actually help me with my quasi-suicidal depression and what kind of negative side effects it may have on me.

The main catalyst in actually persuing getting help was that I'm afraid of becoming so disinterested with life in general that I stop doing school work and excercising (currently the only things that I really do), so if it would interfere with these two activities it would seem slightly pointless to me. :/
