Actually, I thought of another album you might like, Proto. For some reason, I thought of Cibo Matto's Viva! La Woman. I credit the album for introducing my teenage self to music beyond pop and classic rock, and I'd still put it in one of my favorite albums ever. It's not hip-hop per se, but they do rap. Judging by the stuff you've dug in the past, Jason, I'd think you'd enjoy it.
