It wouldn't be so bad if it was just possible to 'lock out' people from threads you create. I dunno, maybe just locking out anyone without a title.
It doesn't do any good to think or hope for it, though, since it'll never happen. Your best bet is to find another regularly-updated forum with people you've known for 4+ years. :<
