Castro is an evildoer because he doesn't give the people free elections. Granted, neither does Musharraf - but that's different.

Castro is an evildoer because he doesn't allow a free market economy. Granted, neither does the Communist China - but that's different, we need the trade.

Castro is an evildoer because he's trying to build WMD (remember those nukes from the 60's? you think such an evil man would actually scratch those programs willingly?). Granted, so are Pakistan and India, and they're much less stable - but that's different.

But most importantly, Castro is an evildoer because the influential Cuban community in Florida says so. That's good enough for me.

Seriously, Castro is one of the better dictators of the past century. If he wore a pirate costume instead of that military garb all the time, he'd be the best dictator in history.
