No, I didn't get a trumpet for my birthday. I actually traded an extra trombone I had straight up for it, and I'm learning it now because a half-semester brass methods class just started (I'm already decent at the tuba and I'm picking up the French horn in three weeks).

And my cheeks don't get flushed, either.
