I do like Halo. A lot. I don't think it's the best FPS I've ever played, but if any company's earned the RESPEK, it's Bungie.

And now to debunk RainbowMilitia's list.

-1. The storyline
-Is WAY, WAY better than Half-Life's, plus draws on the huge history and plot of the Marathon series (story.marathon.org)

2. The graphics
-Are perfect for what they're trying to do, and will run reasonably on a mediocre system

3. The gameplay
-Is so much better than Half-Life's that it's almost hilarious, but seriously, every game since has adapted to use Halo's controls, so, yeah.

4. The sounds
-Are hilarious, fantastic, and clever (hey, it's a mark 5!)

5. The missions
-Are trite, but at least it has missions, unlike half-life.

6. The box art
-Was good

7. The CDs
-Were shiny

8. The fact it was made by omg M$$$
-It wasn't

9. You like it

10. I enjoy making a fuss on intenet forums

11. My halo cd has disapeared (think i lent it to someone)
