Brought on by an episode of the "Brady Bunch" in which Bobby, after watching a version of "Cinderella" and realizing his status of a "step", is on the verge of running away. In this heart-warming little drama he was, of course, talked out of it by Carol in some cheesy way. I digress. This brings me to the premise of this thread. Did you attempt to run away as a child? What were the reasons? What was in your runaway kit? The contents of my "runaway kit" consisted of the following stowed in a backpack:

1) Box of Booberry cereal
2) A coupla juice boxes
3) A coupla puddin' cups
4) Underwear
5) Socks
6) Some comic books
7) Toothbrush w/toothpaste

P.S. It was over not getting a puppy a neighbor kid was offereing (We already had a dog) and it lasted a little under two hours after a failed attempt at recruiting another neighbor kid (not puppy-kid). Although he refused my recruitment he did help me polish off the Booberry and juice boxes.
