OK, I'm willing to spell it out for you. The Biblical authorization for the position of Pope is nil. You can make a strong argument that Jesus made Peter King of the Church, but I have seen ZERO Biblical support for passing that title on after his inverted crucifixion. It was in the
interest of the Pope and the Cardinals that people not see that the Bible didn't spell out the authority of the Pope and the Cardinals.
