Ninjavenom: after a few years when the heavy as FUK!!! thing we all get as metalheads has passed, you'll begin to appreciate progressive rock more. Not that said PR doesn't rock out with the best of them, it's that it does that in ways difficult to appreciate when you're into grind. I'm not trying to patronise you, it's just how it went with me.

If you want to understand what the whole deal with progressive music is, take a leap of faith and go out to a CD store and buy 'Pleasant Shade of Gray' by Fates Warning.

Then listen to it for a good long time, and then get back to me.

I bet you won't be dissapointed.


Or you could just not do that now, and do it out of personal interest in 4 years from now. And then realise what you've been missing so far.
