So I was riding my bike to my apartment from school. They have a bike path that I use for about 3/4 of the way before I go back up to the streets, so it's usually pretty safe. Directly after I have to get off the path, I have to pass two driveways that lead into the bowling alley and mini-golf course before I finally make it back. EACH of them have a stop sign with a limit line, but I'm still kinda cautious when I cross them just because people blow past them without looking.
So this guy in a PURPLE CAR acts like he's going to stop so I cross and then he speeds up and hits the rear wheel of my tire. My bike skids, but I'm still upright and OK. I let loose an avalanche of obscenities on the guy and he was all "Sorry dude" and sped off before I could get a good enough look at the licence plate. Now there's just enough warpage on the wheel for it to be usable, but annoying because it's scraping against something.
