Haha. Am I a high school senior? Dude, we met! I'm 21. A transfer student. I've talked to the financial aid offices of all the schools I've been accepted into and they all just say "Yeah... take out a loan."

I submitted my FAFSA and seriously, all I got back was qualification for a Stafford loan ($1200/ACADEMIC YEAR). I didn't get any grants and again, I've missed all scholarship deadlines. (Better luck next time, I know.) My mom's a social worker but last year she married some jerk who makes a lot of money so when they filed jointly this year, I had to include their combined income. The problem is, they'll probaby be divorced within the year and his income has nothing to do with my education. My dad refuses to help me because he says there's no money in social work and it's a "bad investment." My older brother is currently in med school and one of my younger brothers is also going to college. I know, boo-fuckin'-hoo. I'm just trying to find out if anyone has done school on VERY limited funds, without the help of parents, etc., and if they have any suggestions (barring prostituion, drug selling, etc.). So, anyone?
