Schimiddy, I fought against a pretty decent boxer a few months back. The only pads I wear are gloves, everyone else wears face cages and chest protectors and crazy shit, but I never get hit.

I promised not to kick because this guy is a strict boxer, so that meant no sweeps and no knees either. Put me at a disadvantage but I'd rather have a challenge than totally wail on this guy with my legs.

I landed my first uppercut, his lower lip busts all over the place... so much for the headgear. I hold back for the rest of the match, a little too much because he hits me square in the nose, and boom goes the dynamite. 2 minute break to stop the bleeding. I still don't want to hit him, and he hits me square again, pretty accurate. Another 5 minute break. Eventually he hits me again and I just say fuck, I can't stop the bleeding, it's over. Shoulda taken pictures, it was gruesome
