I have met five people on five seperate occasions in three seperate states who didn't know who John Adams was. JOHN ADAMS. Remember the Eddie Izzard bit where he mentions General Lafayette, only to be met by silence? We Americans seem to have the habit of ignoring history entirely, this is not restricted to the histories of foreign cultures. Sheesh.
