One of the few things that dissapointed me in Japan was the lack of odd vending machines. On the other hand there were plenty of regular vending machines... One every 50 meters, even in the more rural areas.
The weirdest I saw was one that sold Porn. It wasn't like I had to look for it either, it was right in the middle of a busy subway.
