Okay, so that ending was ridiculous. I put on a rad suit and popped some rad-x, plus had plenty of radaway, like anyone else in the wasteland would. Why on earth can't I just get back out of the irradiated chamber? I wasn't even minorly sick after putting in the code. Also, I had my mutant buddy there with me, but when I tell him to go turn off the machine he's all CAN'T LET YOU DO THAT STAR FOX about it for no real reason whatsoever. So, no boss fight, I just kill some homo in a trenchcoat and then regardless of whatever decisions I make, the game ends and I can't keep playing, even if I make the BOS chick kill herself instead? Fantastic! And then the ending is about 12 seconds long, and doesn't go into the description of what happened to the towns you've been to, or the characters you've picked up. It's just (you died/BOS ho dies), (you poisoned the water well/you did not), WAR NEVER CHANGES LOL AMIRITE. Also I beat the game at like level 12. I wasn't even trying to. Was having a lot of fun before Bethesda crashed my party, though

I found several pistols, sniper rifles, assault rifles, and an abundance of ammo for all of them within 30 minutes of being out of the vault.

Yes and how long does it take to get out of the vault if you aren't speedrunning it? Somewhere betwen 9 and 52 years. Also, you don't really find anyone other than random battles to use the shit on for quite a while.
