The Republican Nominating convention is going to be held in NYC about a week before September 11, which is a pretty ballsy use of tragedy and will go down in political history as a really amazing bit of Machievellian strategy, a really stupid assesment of National gullability, or, in the event of an actual terrorist attack on NY, just a dumb as dirt idea.
Do you suppose with such a tempting target event in such a tempting target city they will crank up the national alert to Orange, or just leave it there from now until then?
