Firstoff, Cthulhu isn't really from mythology so much as the stories of HP Lovecraft, and secondly there are much weirder Lovecraft Monsters, like The Great Race of Yith, the Mi-Go, the Elder Things, The Dunwich Horror, the list goes on and on.
