Yeah Muscle beach is the south area. I have a feeling I know exactly where you are talking about now. Maybe 2 or 3 blocks north of the muscle heads. I'll for sure hunt it down next time I'm there.
I'm in downtown L.A. half the month. Near Griffith Park.
