That guy is Australian, and I think he later commented on how he really wanted to give the black power salute, but thought that they might look at him weirdly because he wasn't black.
In his head he's going: "Should I do it? No, it'll look dumb... but what if they think I'm racist? No! They'll think you are taking the piss.. oh god... just do it just do it just do it.... I think only black people are allowed... oh god..."
