I also made the mistake of reading their article talking about how Glee heralded a golden wave of "neo-sincerity" overcoming irony in pop culture. Since, you know, that's not fucking retarded and you can't just say "sincerity", you have to indulge in a funky fresh media-whore buzzword.
Then I read the other op ed pieces that story linked to. I hope everyone involved with Wired gets Pancreatic cancer.
