so my roommate is like this french chick who spent like her entire life living in a boarding school, and so she's super hilarious and unfortunately naive in this environment. I just taught her how to use a dishwasher the other morning -- I come home, there's a spoon, a wine glass, three kitchen rags and a sponge going through the heavy rinse cycle.


I tried explaining to her that we're not supposed to wash those things, but even I didn't understand why not.
