Everyone has to learn common sense sooner or later. If she is willing to listen and learn, I say stick with it, she will be shaped exactly to your tastes and idiosyncracies. But if she is just lazy and wants you to do everything, screw that. Some people know that they don't know anything, they just need help from someone who does. I don't really consider that high maintenance, I just consider that someone who is learning the ropes.
