Junco Partner is a really old folk song, and I have no idea when or where it comes from. I know black jazz musicians from as far back as the 30's have recorded albums with that song on it though. Even Harry Connick Jr. did an awful version of it. The 101er's did the best version of it.
I'm sure it's public domain by now.
