ok ronnie, here ya go:
http://www.cnn.com/2003/US/01/22/ritter.arrest/

Bah!

Quote:
Ritter's case received an "adjournment in contemplation of dismissal," or ACOD, Ritter and the source said. That meant the case was adjourned for six months; if the defendant stayed out of trouble in that time, the charge was to be dismissed and the record sealed.

"An ACOD means that it's expunged from the record, as if it never happened," Ritter told CNN affiliate WRGB-TV in Albany.

The dismissal of the case carries the presumption of innocence, Ritter said in an interview on CNN's "NewsNight with Aaron Brown."
edit: ACOD? is that true?
ok, so im not going to repeat the smear(alegations)if i can help it..

the charges were dropped and the case was sealed.. the 'smear' is the fact that the case was leaked after being sealed, and the timing coincided with a trip to the middle east to pre-empt the war..

he wasnt convicted but was arrested.. i'm not sure what to think about this but in his defence it shows he doesnt twist words like clinton

how this discredits him as a valuable source of info in Iraq?
it doesnt. he's a republican that voted for bush for pete's sake!

if he was convicted and lying about it.. then i guess id have a problem with trusting him.
