I know this is an old thread, but the exact same thing is happening to me, and it hasn't stopped. If I had to guess, I'd say it started at about the same time the new site design came around, though I don't know if the 2 things are related. It's not that bad, just slightly annoying really. If you can't do anything about it, that's fine, but I'm just notifying you.
