Can´t you just kick their shields or backstab them? I haven´t had any invaders yet and 8 out of 10 summonings fail too but then again, as I said, I´m never in Human form anyway so who cares :D
Also, I read somewhere that the Eye of Death stuff that you´re supposed to do as a Servant of the Gravelord simply doesn´t work. I´ve only tried it once and I just died a few minutes later because well, I´m not gonna sit around waiting for other people to invade me so some skeleton killed me while I was walking around...
A nice little thing though: If you die while cursed, your statue appears in other peoples games, that´s where these leafy statues in the sewers come from
