If Sean Penn gives more money to the reconstruction of Iraq than you do, does that make him smarter than you, Vincent? West is giving a lot of money (as he sort of babbled about on NBC) to the Katrina recovery. That means he cares a lot more than you do, right Vincent?

Its very simple to explain why "us conservatives" use cash donations as a measure of one's compassion. Liberals are the ones who always bitch and complain and giving more money and how the government should give more money to the poor, the downtrodden, the blah blah blah. Although, when it comes to actually ponying up money to get to all these "deserving" groups, liberals would rather give someone else's money then open up their own wallets.
Conservatives give money, liberals give speeches. Which is more effective?
