Palomino to Spearhead DIC's Growing Domestic Licensing Initiatives

Burbank, California -- DIC Entertainment (DIC), a leading independent children's entertainment company, has named consumer products' veteran Juanita Palomino as Vice President of Domestic Licensing at DIC, reporting to Nancy Bassett, Senior Vice President, Worldwide Consumer Products, DIC. Palomino will begin her new role at Licensing Show 2004.

In her new position, Palomino will lead the division's increasing domestic licensing initiatives for the company's brand properties, including "Trollz" and "Strawberry Shortcake." She will oversee the efforts of Cindy Elfenbein, DIC's recently appointed Executive Director of Retail Consumer Products, Heather Fuscellaro, Director of Toys & Interactive and Martin Corcoran, Manager of Domestic Licensing. Palomino replaces Cindy Davis, DIC's former Vice President of Domestic Licensing, who will be leaving the company following Licensing Show.

Bassett comments. "We are thrilled to welcome Juanita to the DIC Consumer Products team. She is an experienced professional with an impeccable reputation within the licensing industry." Bassett adds, "DIC has been experiencing tremendous growth in the Consumer Products area and, having had the pleasure of working with Juanita at Viacom Consumer Products, I have no doubt that she will make a significant contribution in helping us to manage that growth to achieve our goals."
