now i gotta share: i took that pic at strawberry fields, central park, this past summer. the dog belonged to this homeless guy with matted hair who hangs out there all the time. he had a grocery cart full of trash he was separating the (mostly dead) flowers from and waxing philosophically to anyone who'd listen (mostly the dog). and that pidgeon was inching closer and closer to the water dish. the dog was like, whatever. the pidgeon was like, i'm'a get me some 'a dat. (he's a new yawkah.) it was about 105 degrees (pretty miserable at 7 months pregnant!) but what a cool day. :P
