It does. I hate those parts too though. I was really disappointed at first and kept waiting for a normal looking zelda game and was thinking that the wolf/darkness thing would be cool for like one temple only but once I got to the forest temple it felt like classic zelda. I'm also a bit disappointed that it looks like there's only 3 swords total, and one is a wooden one
. I was hoping for an optional one like the giant's knife or gilded sword.
