They could've adjusted for that with a cap on a stat for each level or something. I just feel somewhat limited in character creation. Daggerfall had abilities for almost everything. It wouldn't have been very difficult to add more even if they were "unneeded" skills.

You hit T (on PC obviously) to wait around. It isn't sleeping but it will pass the time.
