Recently i have been becoming more and more interested about the stuff in the bible i never heard about as a kid. I recently read about the Spear of Longinus, and i thought it was pretty interesting. It would be so unbearably cool if a spear that stabbed a guy (who may or may not have been a holy dude/son of god) way back some 2000 years ago and retained some of his blood/flesh was still around today. Apparently there are two current ones, the one in Vienna seeming to be the most authenticated one. Something that some of the most important people in history have all owned may be on display in a museum in Italy. That is so fucking cool it hurts. I liked the one Winston linked to about the cup of recurring flesh and blood, too, that one was neat.

Anyway, does anyone else know of any sort of religiously-tied sorta history/mythology stuff like that? It's super-interesting, i'd like to know more about this stuff. :o
