The "Janitor" Creature was an awesome touch. It was so great for its purpose that Silent Hill's original creator praised the design and requested to be able to use it in a future game. So that's success right there.

The movie could have been better, but it was still damn good for a Video Game Movie. Better than anything Uwe Boll has done at any point in his life ever, at any rate.
