I just got back from the show and it was fucking AWESOME. Those guys really know how to entertain a crowd! And the best thing about it was that Victor DeLorenzo was back on drums!!

It was AWESOME seeing Vic pounding away on the drums...that man is fucking insane, and I could tell he was having the time of his life being back with the group.

Because they had the old line-up, they only played older material before Vic left the group...which was fine by me, as their older stuff is better anyway. They played every track off the first album except for "To the Kill" and "Good Feeling" (and "Ugly" if you count the bonus tracks).

They also played "Country Death Song", "Black Girls", "Jesus Walking on the Water", "Sweet Misery Blues", "Hallowed Ground" off the second album.

And they did "Old Mother Reagan", "I Held Her in My Arms", "American Music" and "Out the Window". Also that song from the Crow soundtrack, "Color Me Once". Oh, and also "Waiting for the Bus".

They also had the Horns of Dilemma come out and play for a couple of the songs, and they REALLY went crazy on "Black Girls". Brian Ritchie left the stage, and Vic just started pounding away on his drum by himself and started doing this insane chanting like he was speaking in tongues or something. And Gordon just stopped playing and was just watching Vic and laughing. Vic closed his eyes and he was just totally lost in his insane little moment. After a few minutes of this, Brian came back onto the stage swigging a bottle of water, picked up his bass, and they went right back into the song where they left off.

Fucking awesome experience, and I never dreamed I would get to see the original line-up of one of my favorite bands. I had NO idea that Victor was back with the group.

The opening band was pretty good too, Quang-T is their name. The guitarist was this HOT chick too, and the lead singer had a great voice. I ended up getting their cd and found the lead singer after the show and talked to her for a while and got her to sign it. I couldn't find the hot guitarist though or I would have had her sign it too (and my boobs )
