Perhaps I'm in the dark here, but what rules are you talking about being singled out in? If you were, I'm sure it's just in good fun and a part of the typical new user hazing rituals that take place around here... so certainly no need to let it bother you, make you pack your bags and run for the hills. That said, if your name is listed in the forum rules somewhere, let me know where exactly (include the link).
