I'm trying to take advantage of liquidstatik's generous offer. I've followed the link but see nothing I recognize as a "script" or anything about uploading avatars, images, etc.

I've dutifully explored the links that seem likely to me, and done searches based on keywords like "upload image" with no luck.

Some non-enflamed advice/hints would be welcome at this point.
I really like all the cool animated pictures folks here have, and the sigs are interesting too.

I'd like to learn how you all do this so I can shamelessly copy your example. Remember, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
