The difference is we are secure in our funny pictures retardation and that poses a threat to those who truly wish they were as nubile and sexy as their anime idols- and aren't, of course.

I wondered if that pic Guitar Woman posted was actually an attempt at creating an amalgam- maybe the sexually abusive uncle combined with Mario as the childhood hero that Guitar Woman vainly hoped would save him/her/whatever from a life of sexual impotency and self hatred.
