Yeah, you know, no one ever heard of I-IV-V until some blues guy in the early 20th century thought it up. All that so-called "classical" music uses different kinds of harmony, and none of those treatises on harmony written four hundred years ago had even a hint of this newfangled I-IV-V thing.
