Yeah. Well, I mean I think I caught all of the major themes and most of the minor ones. ("Which is scarier, the religious nutjobs or the government", "People do crazy things for authority figures", "Won't someone please think of the children", etc)

Although Michael Parks is fantastic and this was right up his character-actor alley, I thought that some of his sermons, particularly the big opener, ran a bit long. There was always either too much exposition, or too little of it. There were some timeline jumps, like going from John Goodman eating his breakfast and us finding out what the fuck he had to do with anything, to John Goodman standing outside the compound with a full raid team. I thought that really messed with the smoothness and continuity of the film.
I did enjoy the lady from Mr. Rogers yelling "Cocksucker!" out the window just before she went down in a hail of bullets, though. I did enjoy that.

The special effects were great for the budget he had, but the shakycam. I hate the shakycam so much.
