I have helped 3 people with their art show.

Everything depends on the wall you hang your art. you should pick your pieces based on the color and texture of the wall along with the size of space you are to use.

Try not to create an environment were people want to walk past you space, you want them to walk up and have a look for a few seconds. So don't fill your space with everything you have, or even your favorite piece. If the piece you are the most proud of blends into the background, no one is even going to look at it. Cramming a bunch of small peices together is horrible on the eyes as well, try to space them so that people don't have to touch shoulders when they look at them.

Any of this making any sense? That's about all I could tell you without knowing what your space looks like and all the pieces you want to display.

Also, always price your stuff high. No ones going to buy it anyways (unless you are well known), so give the impression that you give a shit about your art.
